Welcome to the Horse & Groom, from bankers to builders, PAs to plumbers, diplomats to dentists, you’re all guaranteed a warm welcome at one of the cosiest little pubs in London.
Our friendly and efficient staff are expert in creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Just one visit and you’ll feel like a regular.
Nestled discretely in a picturesque cobbled mews off Belgrave Square, The Horse & Groom is a haven of traditional hospitality and remarkable tranquility, yet minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Hyde Park Corner, Knightsbridge and Victoria.
Traditional wood panelling and etched glass provide an intimate and warm atmosphere. The photogenic mews location provides an ideal background for that special photo. Our friendly, welcoming staff offer an extensive menu of wholesome ‘home cooked’ food, all washed down with the finest hand pumped ales, beers, spirits and wines.
We work hard to make your time with us as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. So even if you only want a cup of freshly ground coffee and a quiet read of our papers; be our guest.
The upstairs dining room has witnessed some great private parties.
And when the sun shines – as it does every day at The Horse & Groom - we have an outside area in the mews for you to enjoy your food and drink.

Although we’ve been open for over 150 years it’s our more recent history that seems to interest visitors.
Beatles Manager, Brian Epstein, lived just around the corner and he and The Beatles were frequent visitors.
It has also featured in several films, our most recent appearance being in the star studded ‘Ab Fab’ movie plus a number of TV dramas – most recently the Julian Fellowes drama ‘Belgravia’ - and various TV ads. (Check out Armstrong and Miller’s hilarious RAF pilot spoof on you tube.)
And recently we were delighted to welcome Rihanna, who ‘hip-popped’ in with her team for a few drinks.
So if you’re in the area, alone or with friends, please drop in. You won’t regret it.
